Machine Design Engineer
The humble plan is set – to save the world from plastic and composite packaging materials with high carbon footprints and harmful afterlife! ♻️🌱
We are looking for like-minded people who are fearless in building new machinery and eager to grow fast!
Previous experience in machine design and construction is essential – past or current roles may include Senior Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineer, R&D Engineer, Lead Engineer, or similar positions.
Your daily work will involve modeling, prototyping, and building new iterations of machinery with our fantastic team of 10 engineers, along with external development partners. We operate in a fast-paced environment beyond our usual comfort zone, where one thing is certain – you won’t get bored! Your work will span across prototyping, pilot factory, and full factory phases, all within a relatively short time frame.
Don’t fear the following bullet points. We aren’t searching for someone perfect who ticks every box – but you should feel comfortable with most of these topics.
As we’ve discovered in our work here: it’s better to try and learn than regret not trying at all. 💪
We are looking for someone who will:
- Work on new production machinery designs
- Perform calculations, analysis, and subcontractor communication
- Participate in procuring technologies of varying levels of complexity
You will thrive in this role if you:
- Are ready to learn new things
- Excel at developing technologies
- Work well in a team
- Have strong analytical skills
- Have a multidisciplinary background (ideally)
- (Hopefully) have prior experience developing or optimising factory technologies
With us, you will:
- Join a fast-paced and dynamic R&D process with a lot of freedom for new technology and production process development
- Take part in the creation of highly automated Greentech production technology
- Contribute to creating a pioneering factory technology, starting from scratch with novel production machinery
- Be part of a venture with a huge positive impact on the environment
- Join a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive team
- Enjoy many opportunities to grow within the company based on your interests
